Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Kantumantu does

Kantumantu helps creators bring videos they have already published on their own Instagram account to their own TikTok account. After you connect both accounts, Kantumantu shows your Instagram videos next to your TikTok videos, highlights the ones that are not yet on TikTok, and lets you post a selected video to TikTok after reviewing the caption and choosing your TikTok post settings.

Every TikTok post is started by you, one video at a time, from the "Post to TikTok" screen. Kantumantu does not post automatically, in bulk, or on a schedule.

Kantumantu is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official product of Instagram, Meta, TikTok, or ByteDance.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when you sign up, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must meet the minimum age required by Instagram and TikTok to use the Service.

4. Connecting Instagram and TikTok

You connect Instagram and TikTok through their official login flows. By connecting an account, you:

• Confirm that the account belongs to you and that you are authorized to use it
• Authorize Kantumantu to access the information and perform the actions allowed by the permissions you grant, as described in our Privacy Policy
• Agree that Instagram's and TikTok's own terms and policies continue to apply

You can disconnect either account at any time from the Kantumantu dashboard or from your Instagram or TikTok settings.

5. Your content

Kantumantu is designed for posting your own original content. You may only post videos that you created or that you otherwise have all the rights needed to publish on TikTok, including rights to any music, images, or people that appear in the video. You may not use Kantumantu to copy or repost content created by other people.

You keep ownership of your content. You give Kantumantu a limited permission to temporarily copy, process, and transmit a video only to carry out a post you request. Temporary copies are deleted after each upload.

When you post to TikTok, you are responsible for your caption, privacy setting, interaction settings, and any commercial content disclosure. By posting, you also agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation and, where applicable, TikTok's Branded Content Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Post content you do not own or do not have rights to
• Connect or post to an Instagram or TikTok account that is not yours
• Post spam, misleading content, or anything that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines or Instagram's Community Guidelines
• Violate any law or the rights of others
• Interfere with the Service, or try to bypass its security, rate limits, or the review step before posting
• Misrepresent your identity or any affiliation with Kantumantu, TikTok, or Instagram

7. Third-party platforms

Posting depends on Instagram and TikTok APIs, permissions, and limits, which they may change. TikTok may limit how many posts can be made in a period, and a post may take a few minutes to appear on your profile. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or decisions made by Instagram or TikTok.

8. Intellectual property

The Kantumantu name, website, and software belong to Kabeeta Bhatta Pandey. These Terms do not give you any right to use the Kantumantu name or branding except to refer to the Service accurately.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and working, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and post the new version at https://kantumantu.com/terms-of-service.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or put the Service, other users, or third parties at risk.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KANTUMANTU AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANYTHING.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kantumantu and its operator from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of Nepal will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
